A Small Community Scene

You are flying along over California, nearing an airport. You cross over a river which has a housing area on the near side, and on the far side, nearer the airport and in an apparent industrial areaa, you see another housing area sandwiched between the airport, the river, and the freeway. "Pity the people who live that close to the airport and freeway", you think. "They must live with a lot of noise all the time."


As you circle, you get a closer look and see that it is pretty much a rural area, not many homes and a lot of farm space, but also nice streets and nice houses.


A closer look shows a sleepy little community with very few people there, some tending their crops, and mid-day empty streets, yards and pathways.






And yet, for some reason, you were given the tasking of viewing this area and describing any activities you find there. So, what's going on?
