Climbing the sides

The tower is a 4-sided column, skewed over to one side to provide the more daring climbers with a negative climbing surface with an ultimate overhang of 36 feet. Climbers can climb on top, underneath, or on the flat vertical sides.

Panoramic scenery

Excalibur is the tallest thing for miles, offering a memorable panorama to climbers who manage to reach the top.

A view of the top

But when you reach the top, you find that there are no level surfaces ther for you to rest on. You get to look around, enjoy the scenery for a while, and then begin the very tiring descent to the ground again. There's no rest for the weary.
