The Taoli Dance Competition

On August 17, 2006, dancers and dance troups from all over the world traveled to Beijing, China for the annual Taoli Dance competition. Shown above, a Chinese group performs a modern version of traditional Chinese folk dances.

Dances are judged on grace, style, perfection, and as shown in the photo, above, creativity.

Contestants from Macao perform during the final of the Chinese classical dance on Aug. 13, 2006. Contestants from China's Taiwan Province and Macao Special Administrative Region as well as the United States and Singapore took part in the final on Sunday.
