In thinking of Gothic architecture, our thoughts always ascend. For that which embodies Gothic style most is lofty;

Gothic Architecture Many diversified characteristics will help identify a structure as Gothic: ogee archways, ribbed vaults, and the wondrous flying buttresses are a few.


The interior of the cathedral is a place designed to inspire awe and worthip. The magnificant splendor is found in very few other things made by man.
